Thank you Spencer County Community Foundation!

Today, the Santa Claus Police Department received a grant from the Spencer County Community Foundation.

The grant, in the amount of $2,249.95 will be used to provide new vests for the department. Current vests are outdated and in need of replacement. Chief Faulkenburg thanked the Community Foundation, and said, “The town really appreciates this grant, it is much needed for the protection of our officers.

Welcome, Deputy Farmer

Although he has been working on the force since April 22, we would like to officially welcome our newest Deputy Marshal, Kevin Farmer, to the Santa Claus Police Department.

Kevin and his wife Eileen and two children are relocating from Bloomington, IN.

He’s 33 years old and a graduate of the Police Academy,

Kevin was previously a member of the Bloomington Police Department.


Santa Claus Police department is taking applications for a full time deputy.

The successful candidate must be a US Citizen, a minimum age of 21, have a high school diploma or GED and a valid drivers license.
Please pick up the application at the Santa Claus Town Hall between 8am and 4pm Monday through Friday.

Town Hall is located at 90 North Holiday Blvd. Santa Claus Indiana, 47579.
